So what does NOC Wizard do? Well the better question is, what does it NOT do? The following is just a small taste of what NOCWizard does. Check out the demo to see it in action or download a 30 day free trial. The following list is not all inclusive, it contains most of the major features of the software.

What's more, we love to hear from clients and potential clients on features they would like to have. 90% of all suggestions are added to the next released version. If you don't see it listed here or find it in the program, ask us and we'll add it.

As of V3.0.2 any new features in a new version won't be listed here. Be sure to checkout the changelog located to the left, for the latest items.

BANDWIDTH OVERAGE BILLING AND MANAGEMENT

  • Bandwidth Overage Billing bills for kbps, mbps, GB using average or 95th% on a per server basis.
  • Send e-mails to yourself or someone else showing all servers with bandwidth that exceeds the monthly limit
  • Export bandwidth overages into a comma delimitated file that can be downloaded and imported into a billing system or some sort of database program such as Microsoft Excel™

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

  • Store valuable information, such as billing address, e-mail, status and more.
  • Mass e-mail all of your clients, or e-mail them individually
  • Detailed searching allows you to pinpoint each client, even if you have over 1000
  • All information is stored for use with additional features. Now when someone enters a helpdesk ticket, you will have ALL of their information handy, not just what the HD stores.

COLOCATION MANAGEMENT

  • Create colocation accounts like server accounts
  • View a single bandwidth chart for a port on your switch
  • Clients can add and manage servers on their side
  • Helpdesk changes to allow for colocation tickets to be entered on a per rack, per server basis.
  • Clients can view the bandwidth charts you provide

SERVER MANAGEMENT

  • Built in server monitoring
    • Notify Tech's or Admin's if a server goes down, via e-mail
    • Customizable annoying tone that will play when a server goes down. This can play once or loop till you acknowledge it
    • Ability to e-mail the client if the service on the server goes down
    • Customizable port entry. You enter which ports you want monitored
    • Several different viewing options
    • Ability to ignore ports on a per server basis
  • Keep track of which switch port and power port the server is plugged into.
    • Do live reboots of power ports, or turn them off or on at the click of a button
    • Turn switch ports off or on in the same manor
  • Keep track of what equipment is installed on the server.
  • Stores the main server IP as well as the root password, client information and more.
  • Keep track of servers in multiple locations
  • Store server locations down to the rack or cabinet
  • Network Tools allows for total control from within NOCWizard to manage your network
  • Built in SSH Java terminal allows you to login to systems without needing an SSH client

RTG BANDWIDTH INTEGRATION

  • Similar to MRTG, RTG stores information in a MySQL database allowing for easier integration with PHP based programs
  • Display switch/server bandwidth charts
  • When a server is assigned to a client, that client can login and see their bandwidth usage
  • View text listings showing current, max and 95th%

BILLING PROGRAM

  • In addition to some minor integration with Modernbill, NOCWizard has it's own basic billing system
  • Create packages that are totally customizable
  • Stores encrypted credit card information
  • Currently integrates with PayPal, 2checkout and Authorize.net. In future releases other payment gateways will be included.
  • Report system will show you information such as total amounts billed, total paid, etc.
  • Clients can pay from their own control panel.

DEVICE MANAGEMENT

  • Store valuable information about each device you own.
  • Store printers, routers, switches and more
  • Assign locations and IP's to each device
  • Track login and passwords for each device
  • Devices can be linked to each other

IP MANAGEMENT

  • Configure where each individual IP is located at whether this is a client, default gateway or simply an available IP
  • Ability to display client and server information in a handy pop-up window, at the touch of a button.
  • Keep track of IP's in multiple locations
  • Keep track of partially owned class C's
  • Enter IP's using slash types for greater control and easier input.

MODERNBILL SUPPORT

  • Import your existing clients from Modernbill into NOCWizard
  • Link on the client page where the client will automatically be logged into Modernbill

SUPPORT MANAGEMENT

  • Built in helpdesk makes your life even easier.
    • Configure the categories
    • Configure the priorities to include colors
    • E-mail Notification of new ticket's placed in the system
    • Ability to add STAFF only comments.
    • Configure status categories such as HOLD, PENDING, CLOSED, OPEN or make your own
    • Display statistical information such as total tickets for a client, server or tech
    • Track time spent on each ticket for billing purposes
    • Stores client AND server information from the above features. No longer do you need to figure out what server a client has a problem with.
    • Access to each category can be setup for each tech so that tech's who only do DNS will only see DNS tickets. Global option available where tech's can see all categories.
  • Knowledge base allows you to store common questions for clients and tech's to review
  • News Feature where you can post articles that appears on the clients main screen.
  • Log Files allows you to see what admin's and other tech's are doing.

CLIENT SIDE LOGIN

  • Clients can view their servers and all IP's assigned to them
  • Link on the client page where the client will automatically be logged into Modernbill
  • Ability to change root password information
  • View the status of their servers

  • Clients can view statistical information on help desk tickets they have entered and track each tickets progress
